“I liked having the kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The free standing fan came in very handy as it was very hot when I visited. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and found it very quiet. Handy to have shops and restaurants nearby. Great to have free parking right at the front of the building.”

“Communicated a number of issues with my one night stay to Hotels.com and the property did not respond to these issues. Issues mainly around the following: numerous large dirty carpet stains throughout apartment; toiletries of previous guests in bathroom (including toothpaste, shower gel, deodorant and hair spray); cardboard and sticky tape used to secure pipes in bathroom; various damage to furnishing including hole in blind and faulty blinds which could not be pulled up; dirty stains on...

“The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside...

“Fantastische Unterkunft und sehr nette Vermieter. Idealer Ort, um Ruhe zu genießen und Ausflüge zu unternehmen (Edingburgh, Glasgow, Fife, Highlands usw). Sehr gute Ausstattung der gemütlichen und großen Unterkunft und als Highlight der private Whirlpool mit traumhaftem Blick und der Tennisplatz. "Vi trodde att detta hotellet skulle vara det sämsta när vi bokade sex nätter i Skottland. Men det visade sig vara det bästa. Bästa frukosten av fem olika hotell, man fick pålägg till smörgåsen! Men rummen var väldigt små och dusch med glasdörr i rummet var ingen höjdare!"

"Stannade där 2 nätter. Rummet hade inte mycket plats för avlastning av saker. Kändes som om de körde minimalt på allt. Frukosten var väldigt snålt. Restaurangen sköttes av 3 inte så serviceminded män. 1 ointresserad, 1 genomsvettig i sin egen värld och 1 som bara var ute efter att plocka folks tallrikar även om de inte var klara med den snåla minimala frukosten. Det drog ner betyget på hotellet ännu mer. Kommer inte välja det hotellet igen. Enda positiva var fri parkering och att det gick att öppna fönstret i rummet. "
