“We had a wonderful stay at the cowshed when we attended a friends wedding reception at the nearby Lapstone barn. The property was lovely, spotlessly clean and exactly as described. The hosts provided lots of useful information which we made use of the following day. Chipping campden is a beautiful cotswold village and the property is ideally situated for exploring it. Would definitely stay again! ”

“Everything was perfect, we’re only sorry that we stayed only for a night. The communication was excellent, from booking to checking in- we were told the house was available for an early check in and everything was catered for- each bedroom had a fan to help with the heat wave, the welcome pack was a lovely touch, the cottage was immaculate and beautifully presented and in walking distance of everything. Would definitely return! Thank you for a fab weekend x”

“We booked a 3 night stay in July for a family get together and it was a great choice. The facilities were great and the property had everything we could have wished for. It was very clean and well appointed throughout. We were 7 adults and 2 children and the property coped easily with our number. The outlook onto the lake provided a great setting. ”

“We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house with such a stunning view. It was listed as 8 adult and 2 children but I would say it only slept 9 comfortably. Two beds were crammed into a tiny room which wasn’t ideal. Otherwise it was warm, and very well equipped. ”

“What an amazing weekend with friends. The property had everything we needed aswell as being clean and tidy. The beds were really comfy and the hot tub definitely topped it off. I will defo be booking a weekend again with family.”

“Upon walking into the property the hallway wall had dirty marks on it and really could have done with painting. The overall impression of the property was that it was very dated and needed a freshen up. The sofa was very old and very low, we all had trouble getting up from it and we did report this. The photos were very misleading as the property was a lot smaller than we initially were lead to believe. All in all a disappointing stay.”

“From taking the booking to leaving the lodge we did not experience any issues, which is exactly what you want . I really felt like the staff went out of their way to make us feel wanted and ensure we had a pleasant stay. The lodge was perfect, clean and comfortable and fully equipped. The bedrooms were more like hotel standard rather than self catering. We loved the location of the lodge, it was great for exploring the area. It was so peaceful and relaxing and we are keen to return and make...

"En byggnad med mycket historia och charm i ett centralt läge - bra frukost och restaurang och nära till olika andra restauranger. Lite krångligt med parkeringsmöjligheten intill hotellet - mycket trafik precis utanför hotellet - vänlig service och bra rum med allt som behövs"
