“The property was clean and well equipped. The location was perfect for exploring Portland Island and Weymouth sourroundings.The tv only had freeview, which was a bonus. No youtube, no tv on demand for the kids. The perfect screen detox.We would definitely recommend the stay.”

“Bensly Cottage is a wonderfully cosy and characterful place to stay that is within easy walking distance for everything in Sherborne including the castles (and only a couple of minutes walk from the abbey). It makes it an ideal place to stay if you want to explore Sherborne on foot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! ”

“We had a beautiful week at Karelia, the lodge was fantastic! Clean, very well equipped for the size of the group, perfect location in Ringwood forest with around 8 amazing play areas within an 25 minute walk. Timo was a great host. We would definitely book again! Only point I’d make if I was being picky would be the double bed in loft isn’t suitable for adults as it’s a tight squeeze to get in and out but for children it would be fine and the hot tub lid was hard to take on & off.”

“Ideal for our family get together and was helped by great weather. We were all sorry when we had to leave. The kids loved and made full use of the pool and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The pub and games room were great features and were well used. Only one small point was that there were some dirty trays left in the oven. Would highly recommend for a similar group.”

Very well equipped with lots of DVD choices, board games and everything you need to maintain your stay. The beds and bedding was my highlight one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for years!
