“We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. ”

“The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but...

“Tico Tico was the ideal place for our two-week stay while we attended Spanish School in Quepos. We stayed in villa #12 which was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had a great open, modern aesthetic. And A/C!!! Having the kitchen was fantastic. We used the stove every day to cook eggs for breakfasts, and when we didn't want to eat out for lunch and dinner, we made sandwiches and salads. They even provided a hot water kettle so we could make coffee and tea. The location...
