This property was awesome, it was big enough to easily accommodate us all comfortably, and we never felt as though we were tripping over each other. “From arrival to departure we were very impressed with our treatment and the accommodation pod we had booked. There are only cafe facilities at the weekend therefore the need to travel for food and drink was unavoidable but it is only a short drive into Gisborne. The beaches close by are a surfers paradise so would certainly suit the adventurous person, though not myself. An all round excellent stay. ”

“Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise.”

“The setup was perfect for us, no problems, suited us well.The bookabach platform pretty much sucks though, I would not have been able to communicate with the owner at all if I had not got creative and found their contact independently - I would use bookabach again only as a desperate act of last resort. “Perfect spot to spend your stay in Gisborne. Kylia was super helpful without intruding on privacy. The room is really spacious and everything you need including a heat pump that kept the space really warm. We were there in a really cold few days in June so the only downside was the bathroom is in a separate area that is not heated. So bring some slippers if you coming in winter. It wouldn't have put us off staying here. ”

“Wonderful location and beautiful house. Loved feeding the chickens and collecting eggs. Picking some oranges and juicing them. Heaps of space for kids to ride bikes in the garden. Beautiful historic house. We loved our stay. Thank you 😊”
