“This may not be everyone’s idea of Heaven on Earth, but it is mine! So quiet and remote with direct ocean front access. The view when you pull up is incredible. The cottage was exactly as described. When we met them, they were very kind and considerate hosts offering additional help if it was needed. “Jättefräscht hotell i liten stad. Vi stannade till här påväg upp mot Cape Breton. Hotellet var toppen men Antigonish var inte jätteimponerande. Men hotellet var verkligen värt ett besök! Rekommenderas!”

“The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“We needed a place to freeze some packs for medication and these hosts went above and beyond to help. They also provided us with fresh eggs and blueberries from their homestead. Place was clean and she had the radio playing when we came in. So sweet! The water was warm and clear for us and was so nice to wade in. “We stayed for the long weekend with our adult children and their spouse (6 of us). Fisherman's Cottage was perfect for us. There was lots of room for everyone, and what a view!! The kitchen was well equipped and let us prepare a celebration meal. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub. What a treat!! We would visit again.”

The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas.
