“Most beautiful place in the world! Right by the ocean with amazing sunrise. Very cute house and well equipped. Just make sure you pack everything you need ahead because there is nothing close by. You have to drive about 45 minutes to closest stores in the city of Guysborough.”

“Booking this cottage was a great choice for a much needed weekend getaway.Cottage is perfectly located with a spectacular ocean view.Very clean inside and out.The cottage is situated on a very peaceful setting.My communication with the owner was also very good with prompt responses to all my questions..We will definitely be returning to this property probably sooner than later.”

“The house was adorable, very comfortable, really cozy and we felt like we were really staying in our own home. It overlooked the bay had great views. Well stock kitchen, comfortable beds, great lawn and really friendly for our dog Luna-- The location was easy to find and easy to get to local beaches and the town of guysboro to listen to music. Plus it was so quiet we could sit on the screen and porch or sit in the garden and just gaze and be very peaceful -- We were especially grateful to the...

“Property was very nice, we were comfortable. It would have been good for a longer stay. We were just in the area for a wedding, so we didn't get time to take advantage of the kitchen (though there didn't seem to be a lot of cooking implements available, if we had! perhaps they are available on inquiry) the property is beautiful and we did walk down to the beach. There is not a lot out there, in terms of amenities, but it's a lovely place to stay.”

“When my husband and I arrived at the cottage, we both gave sigh of relief as the cottage and property was better than anticipated. The grounds are well kept and there are numerous bunnies and a few porcupines that visit the property on a daily basis. Just a short walk down a pathway, you will find a lovely beach to decompress! “This was the BEST cabin rental EVER!! It was so perfect - the view, the grounds to walk on, the trail and the hill on the property. The cabin was fully equipped and super clean and comfortable. They think of everything. We will be back again for certain. Nice to have a coffee on the chairs on our cabin porch in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening - amazing view!”

“The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“Jättefräscht hotell i liten stad. Vi stannade till här påväg upp mot Cape Breton. Hotellet var toppen men Antigonish var inte jätteimponerande. Men hotellet var verkligen värt ett besök! Rekommenderas!”

“Southside Harbour Vacations Apartment was a lovely little gem along the Antigonish Harbour. We loved the apartment! It’s a spacious layout with beautiful decor. It was meticulously clean. John and Kathryn were very friendly hosts, they shared lots of information about the area’s highlights and accommodated us with kayaks and a lobster steamer. “The cottage is secluded with plenty of wildlife and amazing scenery. We were visited by fox, deer and hummingbirds!The kitchen is well appointed and beds are comfortable. Our host was very responsive to questions before and during our stay.The short walk to the shore leads to a rocky beach with lovely views and awe inspiring sunsets.Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind.
