“I liked the fact that every thing you need to relax during your stay is easily accessible in few foot steps . I especially liked bonfire, BBQ , kayak/canoeing, private beach, indoor games. One thing I would like to share feedback for improvement is the door mats are not big enough for a place that , as whenever we go out and come in lot of sand/mud comes in room, they could have big good absorbable mats at the door to avoid our room getting dusty quickly, we had to clean our room multiple times.”

“Wow! This place exceeded our expectations on every level. Nat provided us with excellent communication and made us feel very welcome. The inside of the cabin was something you would expect to see in a movie! It was very warm, peaceful, and all appliances/necessities/utensils were provided.When we couldn’t get the fireplace to work the first evening, Nat has a service person in the very next morning to have it fixed.A great all-around experience.”

“The property was as advertised. Great dock and water. Very nice cottage. Great bbq (a bellwether for a good cottage). Owner followed up with me, rather than the other way around. Easy check in and check out. Not a bad thing to say. ”

“Loved the full kitchen, bbq, outdoor seating and the beach, including kayaks and canoes. The cBin was perfect for our needs. I was surprised about bringing all my own linens , including blankets. I wish that prt had been communicated more than 2 days before the trip- including the blanket piece, as I didn’t think a blanket was considered linens and had a couple cold nights. With more warning, I could have made arrangements ti have everything ”

“Our group enjoyed our stay at Cliff Haven! Jeena was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. The place was well stocked and had such a cozy vibe! The only issue we encountered was with one of the bunks being quite shaky and we felt it was unsafe to use.Overall a great experience and we'd definitely book Cliff Haven again!”

“A memorable and intimate getaway! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the water, yet just a short drive from downtown Huntsville. But honestly, once we settled in, we didn’t feel the need to go out much. The rustic charm of the cottage made it easy to fully relax and focus on, well, each other. It was spacious enough to easily accommodate 10 guys. Whether it was enjoying the serene mornings on the deck, or those quieter, more intimate nights by the fire, the atmosphere made it feel...

“I would definitely book this cottage again. We were at a wedding in the area so the location was perfect. Our family of 4 had lots of room to get ready. Both the living room and the kitchen was perfect for hanging out. If it didn’t rain all weekend we would have made use of the outdoor deck and backyard fire pit. I’m really happy we found this cottage. ”

“My husband and I were looking for a romantic weekend getaway and this cabin did not miss the mark!While there are other chalets around, once inside, it feels like an isolated getaway. The owners love for the property is clearly shown.We especially appreciated the cedar soaker tub and the pizza oven. “we enjoyed our stay BUT the fan didn't work , the frig;was not empty ,the daybeds [futons ] DID NOT open and my daughter slept on one NOT opened , and my son - in law slept on the other one NOT opened . Will not stay again .”
