“Casa Rosa was incredible!! The hosts, Joanna and Dave, were so helpful and their communication with us was exceptional. I would stay at Casa Rosa again in a minute!! The property itself was in such a great location, so close to a major city like Sulmona, but very peaceful and quiet. Enjoying a glass of vino on the rooftop terrace while watching the sunset behind the mountains was a definite highlight of our trip!! Thanks Joanne and Dave!”

“The house is really unique, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen area and garden have a rustic charm while the other levels reflect the local roman heritage with marble and frescoes galore. The house is very large and in a quiet neighbourhood with spectacular views over the surrounding hills. En suites are small but practical. On road parking is plentiful. Kitchen equipment is generous if a bit mix and match. TV and white goods all work well though wifi is a bit slow. Had a wonderful few days...

“Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Giacintas Anwesen ist wundervoll für eine ruhige Auszeit. Bzgl. der Umgebung empfehle ich, sich gut zu erkundigen. Die alten Stadtkerne sind in ihrer Mittelalteranmutung schön, aber sehr verlassen. Die Strände, die wir gesehen haben, sehr vom Hochtourismus geprägt. Muss man mögen. Landschaftlich von schön bis, naja, nicht so schön. Fazit - wer sich im Anwesen entspannen möchte, findet hier das Richtige. Unternehmungen sollten vorher gut geplant sein.”

“Wir haben die Unterkunft für 5 Tage für einen Golfausflug unter Freunden gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr groß, mit 3 getrennten Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern, was für unsere Gruppe ideal war. Alles war makellos sauber. Wir haben die großzügige Terrasse mit der tollen Aussicht über die römischen Hügel ausgiebig genutzt. Die Kommunkation mit Giorgio lief schnell und unkompliziert. Danke für die schönen Tage.”

“La Cucina exceeded our expectations in every way. Our family gathered from three places in Europe and the US to meet for time together mixed with seeing the best of Rome. This place is just as the photos suggest. We cooked in the magnificent kitchen and grilled on the oven / grill outside. We played pickle ball and the kids went swimming. Our host were available and always gracious. We are so thankful for the time we shared at the dining table and living room. And we played cards in the well...

“This villa was perfect for our family vacation to Abruzzo, beautifully located in the countryside with lovely rolling views of olive groves, vineyards and mountains. Very well equipped with a fabulous layout with multiple living spaces, bathrooms and kitchens. Loved our local contact person and welcome package. Having a vehicle was key to our outings to the beach, hiking and visiting destinations in the area.”

“We stayed in August for 2 weeks in the villa of Stefano and had a great time. The house was fine, everything we needed was present in the villa, as long as we kept the shutters closed during the day to keep the heat out, we kept the house cool for the nights. We had access to 2 swimmingpools (!!), where do you find that? Stefano was a great host and always very helpful with advise and information about local sights to visit. We also enjoyed the local yearly festivities which are held in August....

“The house is very spectacular with a great view. You are by your own, no noise from trafic or neighbors. However we were missing a dishwasher in one of the kitchen. Adriano were very helpful and solved the problem that occured very fast. It was a great pool.”

“Casa Toti is the perfect place for a family vacation. Located away from the crowded tourist attractions, it is the perfect spot to experience the beauty, tranquility and friendly people of Abruzzi. It is also a beautiful place to just stay put and relax by the pool. Accommodations were spacious, comfortable and clean. Everywhere you turned was another breathtaking view. We were a large group with ages ranging from 3 to 83 years of age. Everyone was pleased with the accommodations and amenities....

“Such a great place to stay. Very relaxing and the perfect way to decompress after being in Rome. Marco has a beautiful property and Suni was an all star in assisting us while we were there. Grilled steaks on the grill, pizza in the pizza oven. Steam rooms, gorgeous pool, and excellent kitchen to make home cooked meals each night. Hope to be back.”

“Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer sehr gepflegten und gut ausgestatteten Wohnung. Das Haus und der Pool waren ordentlich umzäunt, so dass die Kinder allein im Hof spielen konnten. Die Lage ist gut! Man bekommt die Schönheit der Abruzzen zu sehen und ist ebenso schnell in den Bergen, wie am Meer. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit.”

“We've had a lovely stay at this villa. Best way I can describe it is as an authentic Italian experience well away from tourists and the beaten track. Easy to get to Rome though ( train from Zagarolo ) and we can recommend the Hydromania water park too, a 40 minute drive away. We spent most of our time relaxing and the pool was brilliant for our children and we hardly spent any time indoors. A big thanks to the owner PierPaolo and to Angelo the gardener.”
