“After a busy week touring Monteverde and Arenal, our stay at this house on Playa Negra was a much needed restful few days at the beach. Loved the proximity to the beach to pop over the street when we wanted as well as the relaxing sounds of the waves and ocean from the expansive balcony and all the delicious restaurants nearby. House was clean, beautifully furnished and well set up with everything we needed, even a few beach chairs and boogie boards and noodles. Only thing I hadn’t truly focused...

“This was a nice place to stay and was close to everything without being in the middle of it. Lots of restaurants walking distance and in between 2 towns if you need to get something. The beach is directly across the street. This street is the only road on this coast so it can get a little busy/noisy. House only holds 4 at most but if you had a few friends staying around this would be a great place to meet up cook meals and walk to the beach. Biggest drawback is no A/C so if your not use to...

“Quiet, secluded cottage with great yard on the beach. Many good restaurants, shops, groceries nearby. Easy access to other great beaches, a national park and wildlife nature preserve. Liked watching the leaf cutting ants and observing green and blue black spotted little poison dart frogs along with other wildlife in the back yard.”

“We had a great stay in this house. You have everything you need to make food and everything was clean. Doris was easy to get in contact with and offer us a ride from and to the bus station. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is calm and safe.”

“The home was immaculate on arrival, and even more beautiful than the pictures. There was an issue with the master bedroom AC, however the problem was fixed quickly. Hosts were very helpful, and easily accessible, and didn't mind answering my silly questions! We were only there for two nights, wish it were longer! Highly recommend!”
