“Outside our room, the porch had lots of cobweb and a build up of leaves. Day 4 the leaves were vacuumed, by cobwebs remained. I wanted to pay with my card at the desk so not to incur the surcharge. The person responsible for billing was unavailable, and told she usually sorts this out. Paid for the surcharge as my card was billed. ”

“We booked last minute for between Xmas/NY when there were only a couple of places left in Foxton Beach. I was surprised this place was still available given the low price and proximity to the beach - the other one was the same size but 3x the price. The photos on the listing don’t do this place justice. I suspect brighter/clearer photos with white duvet covers and more sea and lawn views would bring more bookings. The first floor deck (looks newish) has a great view of the sea, it was so nice...

“Second year in a row that we've stayed here for Labour Weekend. Was peaceful and quiet, ideally located for a range of activities nearby. Kids enjoyed gathering dead wood for the outdoor firepit, played boardgames into the evening, enjoyed the view of Ruapehu while sitting outside. Gorgeous location.”
