“Très bel endroit, appart hôtel avec prestations de qualité, juste à côté des cités thermales de la roche posay. En revanche la ville est presque vide, on dirait une ville fantôme. Apparement elle fait fasse à une crise économique. Pour les amoureux du calme c’est l’idéal. ”

“Wow what can I say - we had a fantastic 2 week holiday at the Chateau and hope to return one day Highlights - the house furnishings and grounds , the equipment and a very special mention to Nicolas , the manager who was so helpful and even took it upon himself to cook us the local delicacy- he is a credit to the place !Montmorillon is a delight Criticisms - not anything I can immediately think of to be honest . The local villages are very quiet in late May/early June and the bars /cafes open...

“I was house-hunting in France for a few days. The caravan was a perfect base for me. Had everything I needed and is in a lovely location. Pascal and his wife were really nice. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about my short stay here !”

“Deze gîte bestaat niet. De advertentie gaf geen huisnummer. Wij hebben aangeklopt bij het enige huis in deze straat. Dit huis leek onbewoond.(stoffig en vuil) Ik heb rondgevraagd of er een gîte in de buurt was, maar niemand wist ergens van. Van de "eigenaar" heb ik nooit een telefoonnummer gekregen, hoewel ik daar expliciet om gevraagd heb. Gelukkig hebben we na lang zoeken een chambre d'hôte gevonden 20 km verderop, maar mijn geld ben ik kwijt...”

“Une maison bien adaptée pour nos retrouvailles annuelles en famille, avec mes fils, neveu, belle-fille, et surtout mon petit-fils de 4 mois, et la chienne Enid! A l'arrivée, comme la maison était restée inoccupée, il a fallu bien aérer pour faire partir les odeurs de renfermé. Les équipements pour le jardin (table, fauteuils) étaient entreposés dans la remise; nous les avons installés. (nous avons renoncé à installer la piscine, qui était couverte de poussière). Mais la maison elle-même est...

“The property is set in a lovely hamlet where you can leave the doors and windows open all night with no worries. Both pools are excellent and regularly maintained by the host. There is everything you need provided in the well appointed kitchen. Yann is friendly and on hand to help when/if needed. I would thoroughly recommend if you want a relaxing time.”
