“Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

“My wife and I stayed 4 nights in July and we were absolutely charmed with Yogis cottage. Anything you may need is provided - we wanted for nothing. Quiet country location with owners just a stones throw away if needed. So many local heritage sites to explore in addition to the Cotswolds charm. It was perfect for us and we hope to return. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you Jane and Ken:)”

“We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!”

“My wife and I stayed at Folly Bridge House for the weekend and the location and studio were fabulous.It is quiet and secluded for a city getaway but easy to walk right out into the middle of Oxford..Catriona the house manager was very responsive and helpful both before and during the stay. ”

“Everything was fantastic except for the fact that the previous people/cleaning person?!?!? Had left the freezer door slightly ajar so the freezer was one large ice cube which we had to defost to get our groceries in. ”

“We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand.”

“Exactly as advertised. Kurt, the owner, was prompt in responding to every question. Great location if you don’t mind a little walking. Quiet, safe residential area. Cab fares to most Oxford locations were reasonable. Highly recommended by all three of us (seniors).”

“What a fantastic place to stay in the centre of Oxford! We stayed in studio Melissa with its double aspect view of the river. How beautiful to wake up to these views in the morning. The shared 'wetroom' was compact but the shower is lovely and the additional heater welcome. The ability to park at the property is a huge bonus.We wouldn't hesitate to book again. ”

“The house was not cleaned by check in. We had to wait an hour for it to be cleaned. Communication with the host was difficult. The place was fine for a night or two, but not great. The stairs were very steep and only bathroom was downstairs. None of the doors closed without difficulty. The bathroom door would not close/lock. Bedrooms very small. Kitchen was updated and fairly nice. Front room very small with uncomfortable furniture. ”

“We arrived a little early and greeted by Pauline who is extremely welcoming and friendly. Our suite (Tailors) was ready and we were able to check in. Everything was immaculate, including the lovely garden which has plenty of seating. Thoughtful provision of milk, orange juice, water, biscuits plus teas and coffee was very welcome after a long journey. Location to the characterful town of Woodstock is perfect, just a few minutes stroll and you are amongst the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants....

“The property was perfect. Very clean and had everything you needed. Lovely garden area with hot tub and the house was located in a central position to Oxford. Sian was a lovely host. Will defo be returning.”

“The studio is about a 25 minute walk from the train station—easily walkable if you have one rolling bag. Otherwise, cab is convenient and under 10 pounds. Excellent communication re: self check-in. Our unit was atop 20 steps and an ‘attic’ unit with short ceilings on one half, which was a bit of a challenge for us at over 6’ tall. We managed fine, however. The tourist area is about a 15 minute walk away, just down the main road to be in the heart of it all. We didn’t have any issues during our...
