“This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. “A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. Friendly hotel

"We enjoyed staying at the hotel very much . The terrace with the pool, bar and restaurant was wonderful. The breakfast was nice and we also had grill buffet in the restaurant. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was worn here and there, especially the floor should be refurbished. "

Charming but in need of renovation

"We like the charm of old colonial hotels and would recommend it because of the great location but you should no that a lot of things don't always work. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I saw the one room that has been renovated and it aas very nice with modern bathroom and still the room with colonial style."
