“Fantastic apartment (modern, spacious, fully equipped, comfortable beds), great location, super professional and friendly staff. Things that could be improved: - better sound insulation for the balcony doors/windows due to traffic noise - vacuuming and mopping the floors 1-2 times a week for customers staying for a week or more, would be appreciated”

“Vi blev jätteväl bemötta av receptionen under hela vår vistelse, efter att ha bott på hostel under den närmaste månaden var det fantastiskt härligt att få komma hit och få sitt egna utrymme. Det var ganska dammigt på golv och lister men det står en dammsugare i varje rum så det gick lätt att lösa på egenhand, vilket kändes helt okej då vi betalade mindre än om vi hade bott på ett hostel i Melbourne CBD, Plus för både diskmaskin, ugn och klädställning.”

“Helt okej boende. Vi stannade tre nätter och var överlag ganska nöjda med vår vistelse. Det fanns möjlighet att tillaga sin egen mat och det var nära till gågata och strand. Tyvärr var poolen inte i toppskick. ”

“Property was as advertised, although I never saw anyone at the front desk during my entire stay. Check-in is all handled virtually. Some thin walls with moderate street noise, but the unit was clean and comfortable. Expect emails from the property to start about 48 hours before check-in. ”

“First impressions were not good, but as time went by we started to appreciate it more. The location is pretty good for public transport to the city center. If you can forgive a rickety table and ill-fitting cabinets it really provided everything that we needed for our stay. ”

“We came down to St Kilda to attend a local event and were not disappointed by this accommodation. It was very well serviced and met all our needs. It was very close to everything so we could basically lock up the car and come back to it when it was time to go home. The owner was very accommodating and always got back to us when we had any questions. Very happy with our stay.”

“Enjoyed our stay in St Kilda in this well appointed and comfortable studio. Very clean and only 10-15 minutes walk to Acland St. Located in a large but quiet block of flats. Communication was easy and replies were prompt. A little warm in the afternoons due to facing west but there is air con to remedy that. Only suggestions are maybe including a clothes airer for those washing clothes that don't use dryers and to perhaps add blockout curtains that cover edges of the windows to stop bright light...

“DO NOT STAY HERE, It is horrible. Infested with cockroaches, we ended up not staying here and they wouldn’t refund us even though we didn’t stay. The bathroom window was missing so bugs just coming in. I have requested WOTIF remove this property so no one else has to experience this. Be careful using WOTIF to book stays as they obviously don’t check the properties are at a certain level. It should at least have all windows, doors that lock and be clean. I am very disappointed with WOTIF and...

“Great location. Parking was available but a little difficult if you had a larger car as space was tight. Property was older but had everything we needed for a week. No outdoor space so couldn’t sit outside. Would have liked a welcome pack so we needn’t have gone out to search for milk etc on arrival.”

“We had great communication with our host from start to finish. The home we stayed in was very clean and well appointed, including fresh towels, linen and even a basket full of kids toys for the boys. Parked right behind the door but needed to move through the day, due to parking restrictions. The shower was great and had quality soap etc, the big tv was awesome and we walked to some great coffee (coffee No 8) and a perfect pub meal in the Post Office Club Hotel just a short walk across St Kilda...

“Once again we loved our stay at Port Melbourne cottage. The location is great for us (visiting MSAC). Julie is stellar to deal with (thanks Julie for returning a T-shirt my daughter left behind!). We had a great weekend again and really enjoyed the outdoor setting of the pub around the corner ”
