“Tico Tico was the ideal place for our two-week stay while we attended Spanish School in Quepos. We stayed in villa #12 which was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had a great open, modern aesthetic. And A/C!!! Having the kitchen was fantastic. We used the stove every day to cook eggs for breakfasts, and when we didn't want to eat out for lunch and dinner, we made sandwiches and salads. They even provided a hot water kettle so we could make coffee and tea. The location...

“Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Food for breakfast was good and so tasty. View was so pretty, and amazing! Drive up was a bit bumpy however an all wheel drive will do it. Will definitely stay again!”

“Unbelievably great place! My husband and I came to fish from the Pez Vela Marina, and Mar y Sombra was the perfect location to stay! The view was beautiful from up on the hill - you can see the marina and the beach and watch surfers and others enjoy the water. Every night we got to watch the sunset from our balcony! The Quepos/Manuel Antonio area is pretty small, so it was both close to town and just a few minutes to the nature park and bigger restaurants. Obviously super close to the marina!...

“The property was in a good location for activity in Marco Antonio National Park. It was small and simple but worked well for us. Our host did not seem to be receiving our communication from Expedia or Vrbo so was not prepared for us but when we called using WhatsApp, he responded promptly and provided us access. He was quickly responsive for our entire stay. The entrance to the area the property is in is very steep. Parking is available and right in front of property which is great however...

“Clean space. Comfy beds. Nice view from the balcony. Shops and food within walking distance. Nice pool. Good communication. Covered parking. Kitchen needs new cookware and knives. A/C in the bedroom only. It was difficult to keep the living room area cool for the kids sleeping on the pullouts.”
