“Rarely do pictures show what you can really expect, and I always read other positive reviews with a little bit of doubt - but in this case the photos, description and the positive reviews are spot on. This is an absolutely stunning property - the house is unique with multiple bedrooms, a separate master casita and separate casita with a kitchen and living room. “I have never have stayed right on the beach. With this vrbo, we did. Omar, the caretaker, was awesome. If we had any concerns, he was there to help us. It felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. It was also a nice touch to have a mini-tent set up to keep us in the shade. This came in handy with Costa Rican hot sun. Would definitely return.”

“The hammocks were so relaxing with all the nature sounds and birds singing. There were even howler monkeys and scarlett macaws in the yard. The walk to the beach was absolutely gorgeous and the beach was even more stunning. This was all around such a great stay. Can’t say enough nice things.”

“The host was very responsive and even late at night, she accommodated my group quickly. The house had everything we needed. beach towels, beach chairs and kitchen amenities. The only downside is that there are alot of ants inside the property but i know its common around the area so we got bit quite a few times unfortunately. The pool area has a grill and common area to share. Overall great experience, we definitely will be coming back.”

“Wonderful property, perfect for our multi-generational family. Ana from Yellowfin Tours became our go between with staff, a big help and Google translate! Jimmy house manager was right on any issues! Mercedes and her crew kept us cleaned up and the pool guy was great! We used the recommended Chef for 3 nights, very good and very reasonable. We did rent the golf cars to get around town and to the restaurants and grocery. Sure beat the price of rental car we didn’t need, all our tours pick us up...

“We had a last minute vacation and found this beautiful home. The owner was very accommodating! The location is great but about 30 mins. from Tamarindo. You must have your own car if you are going to be touring but it is easy to get to everything in the area.”

“I'm in awe of this property, love the floor to ceiling side to side windows in the living room. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and spacious. Bilitis was super helpful in helping me book transportation, catamaran and private chef services. Benjamin and the housekeepers are also very friendly. “OK - there was a controlled fire burn the last couple days of our stay which smoked us out. We did have issue with checking in with the wrong code, however, the management company was very responsive and corrected the issue almost immediately. Upon entering, the kitchen counter had crumbs and the bathroom seemed like it had been used. The lanais also had fleas, although we did not see any indoors. The view from the lanai and condo was amazing. The condo is situated between Brasilito and Playa...

“Roger and his wife Pat were amazing hosts. They were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. Their house is located right on the beach and just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Tamarindo (but still within walking distance). I highly recommend staying here!!”

“We had a wonderful time at Las Casas Velas. Perfect spot for good surfing, enjoyed yoga and the juice bar in town and the endless beach. Would highly recommend the chef for good, unfussy food and ease. Will be back!”

"Fantastiskt mysigt litet hotell med supervänlig personal. Vi bodde här fem nätter och stortrivdes. Lagom promenad till stranden som är gudomlig, men även en mysig pool med möjlighet att ligga i skuggan. Rekommenderas varmt! "
