“Stay here!! Stay here!! Stay here!! We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, 5 star fancy ones, but this was the first place I’ve ever been truly sad to leave! The architecture, the colors, the design… just breathtaking! Everything is spotless and smells so fresh! The flowers in the courtyard are gorgeous! Carmen, the house attendant, is gorgeous as well and so very sweet! The food they made was yummy and they had it ready promptly on time. You walk from room to room and everyone in your party continues...

“Very welcoming and communicative hosts via messages. We loved the apartment and it's in a very quiet area but just a 5-10 min walk to the historical center with squares and cathedrals. The beds were comfy, the showers clean and warm, and the apartment was so beautiful and had tons of character. Would absolutely stay here again! ”

“The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour. It was farther into town than walking distance and only one restaurant nearby so I would suggest getting the meal option or shopping in town for food. Dominique was very generous to take us along into town when going and she also made some other...

Location is very convenient. I 100% recommend staying here and this place will be at the top of my list the next time I need to stay in Quito. ”

“Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. "Absolutely excellent! The hotel is located with a fantastic view, giving you an almost unreal overlook over the city. Quito is located 2850meter above sea level which gives this place a surreal “high up in the mountains “ feel. David at the reception is fantastic, flawless English and always happy to help. We had a driver / guide by the name of Rene. Fantastic person and knowledgeable guide. We explored the historical center by foot one day and went to Mindo the cloud forest the other. Never felt unsafe, I think Quito and Ecuador in general suffers from bad press. Breakfast is made fresh for every guest and is a mix of fresh fruit, eggs coffe/tea bread and biscuits. Note: We are a couple in our 30’s and we don’t speak Spanish. "
