“We had an enjoyable stay in a clean cosy place but the tiny touches were missing that we have become accustomed to using other holiday booking platforms (such as toilet roll and soap). The booking process through vrbo however was not smooth and the photographs of the accommodation were very misleading, so it's unlikely I'll use vrbo again. I spent over 2 hours finding out who to pay (not vrbo it turns out!), struggled to simply confirm the stay and find out how to access the info to get into...

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Beds were excellent and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Parking was easy. Liz was very responsive to any questions we had. And the lounge was a perfect place to relax after a day out. We were only 2 but 4 people would be very comfortable. Jean”

“We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...

“Detta är andra gången vi bokar ett boende genom HomeAway. Första gången, en julvistelse i stuga överskred alla förväntningar. Nu såg vi fram emot vår resa till Peebles, Skottland. Vi kan ju lugnt konstatera utan överdrift att detta boende nog är det mest bekväma, mysigaste, högteknologiska semesterboende vi haft. Här fanns allt och det lilla xtra. För 60 pund om dagen fick du allt det du är van vid hemma och lite till. Det fanns t.o.m USB laddare i vägguttagen. Ägaren, MS Julie är otroligt...

“A beautiful property that was perfect for our needs. There were five adults and four children in our group and it catered, and was accessible, for all. Supermarkets are close, the views are fantastic, and the house itself was clean and tidy. We had to switch the timer off on the heating as it was very cold with it on but the house warmed up very quickly and it was really warm after a while. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone.”

“Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied).
