“Bright and cosy stay in a one bed flat in a small terraced house. Lively high ceilings and view to the sea through the baw windows. It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate. Good prices, excellent communication, on-street parking and short stroll to the beach. ”

The property was perfect… comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, superb location, sauna was a bonus and the garden was very pretty. Deal itself was a very welcoming town, friendly people. We’d recommend Margarita’s for take away pizza and Mike’s Bikes for cycle hire. Walking distance into Deal from the cottage was about 30mins, which along the seafront was no time at all. “Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error.”

“We had a lovely stay at this property. The hosts are most welcoming and accommodating, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfy, the shower was hot and our kids were so happy to find a few colouring books & games to keep them entertained. It's on a quiet road, overlooking the ocean, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Boradstairs & Margate. There is a beautiful beach (Joss Bay) close by and a 30-minute walk will take you to Broadstairs town...

“Comfortable house, beautiful surroundings”

“Although the accommodation is small it has everything you need and plenty of storage. We only used the kettle and toaster in the kitchenette but there was a hot plate and microwave too so we could have cooked if we wanted. The garden is a lovely place to sit and hidden from the road (cul de sac) by bushes. It’s not the sort of place you’d spend the whole day in due to its size but that is reflected in the price so it’s perfect for a short stay where one might be out for most of the day. However...
