“So we got room 12 and 13 for the first night. A Thursday. The first night was terrible due to the pubs outside and the trash emptying of glass bottles in the early morning. Since we were in CAnberra for business and would stay Another Three nights we brought this up with Natalie in the reception the next morning. “From the moment you pull up in the car at this hotel you realize it will have some challenges. All the spots are taken in front of the hotel at the 1/2 hour parking area nearest the check in and were for our entire three night stay. Instead you need to park in the garage below the building and try and figure out the maze into the hotel with no signage and poor lighting. (Don't even try to use the Wilson parking App, it doesn't work) The rooms face the Lake and Capital, which is excellent, but...

“This property was an absolute disaster. It was old and shabby in the extreme. We had to leave immediately upon arrival as there was an awful smell inside. I discovered the source of the smell in a kitchen bin which had not been emptied. It contained a rotting dog bone and meat offcuts covered in maggots. The owner refused to take responsibility for it and refused to refund us, making every excuse under the sun why he could not. The entire property was old, every surface covered in dust, dirt and...

“The apartment was as described but we had issues with checking in as we had to wait for it to be cleaned and then the incorrect lock box code was provided so we had to again wait for the owner, who was very apologetic, to rectify this.In addition, it was extremely difficult to locate the allocated car space, there was only 1 lift working at the building and there was no welcome information provided. Fortunately the views were stunning!.”

“Beautifully presented. Clean with all things included for a nice stay. Air con, washing machine, jug stove/oven, dishwasher, tv, comfortable bed, fridge/freezer, nice bathroom with pull down shower. In a quiet street. Coffee bags and tea bags. If I had any complaint at all it would be there was no milk portions or coffee whitener. That’s incidental. Nice landlord. We will book again with no hesitation ”
