“Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. ”

“We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean. “We had a wonderful week. The house was well-furnished and fully equipped. There was a large veranda and a large garden behind the house. The owners, Andy and Vivian, were very helpful and answered all our questions. They also had tips for things to see and do in the area. We will definitely return.”

“We stayed at the barn for a 3 night stopover on the way to Cornwall Heather and Angus are very welcoming as are their 2 lovely dogs Pip and MabelThe hamlet of Chaffcombe is very pretty and we had a peaceful and relaxing time sitting in the wonderful private garden belonging to the property. We felt quite remote,which we like, but within easy reach of Sidmouth and Ford Abbey gardens which we visited Burrow Hill gardens is also nearby and worth a visit -amazing views”
