“Well maintained home with plenty of space. Sunrise and moonrises were spectacular. Decent grocery shopping in Calibishie but the best store we found was Savers Enterprise in Portsmouth. Safety & privacy were excellent. The house is sited in a way that no one can see and there is no other property "looking down" on you. Gweneth (mgr) told us the do's on dont's for safety at check in and Chris (owner) was very responsive to all inquiries.”

Er gibt Tipps für Aktivitäten, organisierte ein BBQ und ist sehr offen für Feedbacks. In Calibishie gibt es nur einige kleine Mini-Marts, deshalb besser bereits in Rosseau einkaufen. “This property is a tranquil retreat in the middle of a forest and adjacent next to a beautiful river that we all loved swimming in! The owners had many great suggestions of things to see and fo nearby, great places to eat, and places to go for this being our second trip to Portsmouth so we had too much to do and lived it all! “My wife and me really enjoyed staying at 5th Avenue, Madrelle. The property is in good shape with all the facilities for our use. It was home from home. The views from the porch, especially at night, were to die for. Ce logement tres bien situe est a 10 minutes de marche du centre ville de roseau. Nous avons vraiment apprecier nos hotes car en plus de nous offrir le transport au port a l arrivee et au depart, ils repondaient a toutes nos questions et nous informaient des activites. “This place is amazing. The building is huge. There is so much room. It had everything that we could want and Ginnette responses to any questions very quickly. The site is lovely with a gorgeous view of the rainforest and beautiful plants and flowers. The porch is also gigantic with amazing views and breezes. This is where we spent all of our time. A great experience.”

“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. "This hotel has probably been very nice when it was newly built, but I'm sorry to say that it only feels very old now. The view is fantastic, and the staff is nice and friendly, but that is about it. On the Choice Hotels webpage, it says: "Convenient to restaurants and beaches". I don't know where there are any other restaurants than the hotel restaurant? And to be honest, the hotel restaurant is not good at all. The food is very simple and the restaurant is not charming at all. It could be fantastic if it was facing the view of the ocean, but it just feels dark and old. So I'm very sorry to say, that I will not be coming back to this hotel."
