“We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by...

“Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. “Tekoa Lodge was perfect for our family ski trip. House is very warm with the woodburner going. Lots of space inside and out. Very short drive to the mountain. The private bush track down the river is also very cool. We would certainly stay again. Oh, and David is an excellent communicator. ”
