“Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. “We stayed longer than intended because of the options to visit the surrounding areas and their accessibility. The place is easy to find with GPS. Parking is secure and on site. The host, Francesco and his son Damian are very helpful. The room was large (more like a suite), the bed was very comfortable, the shower ran hot and strong. Even the cleaning lady was a happy, entertaining soul. There are eating options very close and the area appeared safe to us as we roamed at night.”
