“My partner, sister and myself had an amazingly relaxing stay at the cottage. Our favourite spot was the back deck. There is beautiful view across the river to paddocks with cows grazing, and the sound of the river running below. Our thanks to John for a wonderful stay. ”

“We (5 adults 2 dogs) stayed for 4 nights during the Hawkes Bay Marathon. Loved the house, the view, the sea across the road and the sunny outside areas front and back with wonderful bird song. Everything we needed, great fire with piles of logs and kindling for the evenings, comfy beds, safe area for dogs and our lovely host Michelle very accessible for any queries. Perfect for us.”

“Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise.”

“Outstanding! A beautiful, relaxing place to stay. Our separate modern cabin was facing the vineyards. Quiet, comfortable. We walked the vineyards, enjoyed wine tastings. Perfect place. Amazing hospitality.”
