Nice and warm, great view of the ski field from the front windows, roaring log fire, high quality appliances, bed linen. Love the homage to the previous home sadly lost in the 2020 fires. “Such a great wee get away spot not too far from Dunedin city. 2min walk to the beach and it is beautiful even on a miserable day. Has everything you could need for a week away with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Fire heats the whole house but there are also lots of other heating options. Friendly hosts and the property was clean and tidy and well looked after. Looking forward to our next trip already!”

“This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. "Great hotel in the middle of town. We could sort out quite a few things before our flight. The lady at the reception was very kind and told us about the Penguin colony. The penguins wait for it to become dark before they come to the shore. We also got a good recommendation for a restaurant close to the penguin colony."
