“It was a pleasant stay of two nights for me and my family in villa 1 during the long weekend in June. The property was well equipped with all the emanates for a comfortable living. It was also very close to the beach and the local general store was just across the road. Only one issue was related to the internet connection and as a result our watching Youtube via the TV was not a very smooth experience. But, having said that, I believe the owner can’t do much about the internet connectivity as...

“Wow…what a fabulous outlook across Lake Victoria! A destination to ‘stop and smell the roses’ which is great for relaxation. ”

“Amazing property with a chefs kitchen. Everything is easy access. This place seats many with the biggest sofa ever. Lots of room for a huge family. We did not have cell service but the internet works really well. The beach access is right across the street , you hear the waves from the house. I like the heated towel rails , its a comfortable place. We will be back!!!!”

“Wonderful stay in a great location. Only issue was the walls are thin and we could hear conversations and more from the adjacent room. But overall we enjoyed the stylish and clean apartment, beautiful location, facilities and activities on offer. ”

“Bli inte förskräckta när ni söker efter receptionen. Detta är ett lite udda ställe men helt ok. Man bor i en "cabin" med 2 sovrum och kokvrå samt ett litet vardagsrum. Det är rent och helt. + för braskaminen som vi njöt av på kvällen.”

“This was my fourth stay at Anchorage and it’s my “Go To” in Lakes. Older style self-contained units but well maintained, clean and have everything you want and always at great value compared to other places nearby. Excellent location just off Myer St so easy walk to shops, restaurants and the footbridge to the beach. Paul the host is great at communication and I turned up late on a cold night to find a welcome light on and the heating on ready for me. Already have my next stay here booked”

“Beautiful peaceful and restful overlooking the canals of Paynesville. Very spacious apartments with everything you could need. Only a short walk to the ferry and town. Very warm and cosy in May.”

“Loved that the Cabin had everything that we needed during our stay we asked for an early checkin which we were provided. Only negative in our stay was that on our fridge it stated that Unit 9 had a free Wifi service but when i rang up i was told there was no free Wifi. So we had to both use our mobile phone data which we both Thankyou at the prices if similar to this time we would 100%"stay longer than this time we srayed.”
