“I think my wife and I were the third people to stay at this place. It was perfect. The owners obviously live here at least part of the year, and it’s clear they love it. The bungalow is lovely. The entire place opens up with classic English countryside views, sounds, and smells. “The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished with some lovely welcome treats upon arrival. It was also a lovely quiet place. The only downside, personally, was we would have preferred a small table and chairs near the foot of the stairs over bar stools at a breakfast bar. Being able to use the log burner would have been nice but with a thatched roof, we understand the dangers of that.”

“First of all, Phil is an amazing host. Since we made the booking he'a been available to answer all our questions. He's friendly, great character, got humour. Regarding the location. Amazing place. Peace and quiet. If you don't mind having no phone signal or Wifi, this is for you. I totally recommend the 'safari' trip from your car to the caravan. You won't forget that experience. At night you can hear the river flowing. Night birds. No car sounds or traffic. There's a splendid waterfall right...

“The house really is as lovely as it looks in photos. It is small but perfectly sufficient for two people. The property is situated on a quiet street with many lovely independent shops, cafés and pubs nearby. Our host was also very friendly and helpful through the booking and check in process.
