“This is a beautiful home with a responsive and friendly host. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine and some cheese which was a lovely surprise. The home is filled with everything you need for great stay and it very much matches the luxurious description. “We 100% recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore this stunning part of NZ. Our only regret is not having more time to utilise the kayaks and take in the sights of the river.The house is very modern and comfortable and where very surprised with a well stocked fridge of homemade goodies for our breakfast the next day. Communication with the host was easy and they were very responsive to any questions and requests.Would love to return here soon. ”

There are great wooded walking paths on the extensive property, offering opportunity to encounter quail as well as a surprise sighting of a pair of rosella. "Good place to stay. A bit inconvenient without car but took about 15 min to walk to the tourism office. Good size of the room and nice beds. The mirror was spotty and there were rubbish under the beds, so the cleaning could have been better. Not the most modern, but works just fine. "
