The house is cozy and peaceful looking out on the loch in front. The kitchen has good supplies for cooking. It is the perfect place for rest and renewal in the beauty of the western isles, and also as a base for outdoor activities."

"We had an amazing stay at this charming little Loch side cottage. The views from the doors and windows out to the loch opening are stunning and the sun sets out over the islands and water making every clear night magical. The interior is simple but has all that you need, is comfortable and warm. Kitchen is well equipped for simple meals and there is ample room otherwise. "We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "
