“We really enjoyed our stay at "The Lone Star". The view is great from the balcony where we enjoyed morning coffees. Fishing is a short walk to the rocks and Kemah always has a lot to offer. The communication and responsiveness from the owner was fantastic, and he worked hard to help ensure our stay was worthwhile.”

“The bungalow provided us with everything we were looking for. Better than a hotel stay. There were drinks, coffee, & snacks provided which were sufficient until we were able to get to the grocery store. Quiet neighborhood. The AC worked very quickly to get to cooler temperatures during a hot weather weekend. Host was very helpful & responsive.”

“The property was as nice as the pictures show and then some! The owner made sure we felt as home, even baking us chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival and lending us fishing equipment. She has lived in the area for years and provided us with great restaurant recommendations and the best routes to get to get to local attractions. We will definitely go back! ”
