“Fint hotell som låg jättebra utifrån resans syfte. Helt ok frukost och personalen var otroligt service minded. Ett plus för gratis parkering då vi hade hyrbil hela resan. Härligt spa område som också ingick i priset. ”

Even at check in the front desk person told me my floor but not my room for safety as to not announce my room number out loud which I really appreciated especially traveling with small children. He went above and beyond when I needed an extra blanket and even let me pick mine out. I got 3 hours away and realized I left my Apple Watch in the room, called back and they put it in the safe for me! ”

“This hotel was understaffed. Our room was not ready until 2 hrs after check-in. The room was clean, but small. The pillows were small and requested 2 additional. The breakfast was sad. No toast or pastry items. Also the hot water was empty with no personnel in sight to refill. There were a lot of kids (sports teams). “The common areas were very clean. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They were ALL very friendly and nice.”

“The room was big with very comfortable beds. The shower had great water pressure and was easy to use. The lobby was spacious and welcoming and the work out room was equipped with everything I needed.”

“Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Besides the front desk lady being really this place fell very short on expectations. The wifi was very bad and spotty, so forget trying to do any work here. The cell signal at this place is horrible. The rooms and the hotel overall appearance needs a whole new facelift. Last but not least the breakfest was horrible. The only thing that was good was the apple and orange juice. I will not be coming back here. ”

But when we booked Expedia showed that allowed cats and dogs and this Windgate is Steubenville OH did take cats in Dec 2025 when we stayed there. but I called the day prior to our reservation, and they said they did not take cats since things have changed.
