"We were very happy with our stay at Zeus Ydoria Resort! The location was great—just outside Rethymno and only a two-minute walk to the long, beautiful beach. The hotel’s reception and dining areas were newly renovated, giving a luxurious feel. Some older sections could use a refresh but were always clean and didn’t bother us. Our room was spacious with a nice balcony and partial sea view. The pool areas were excellent, with several pools, fun waterslides for kids, and attentive lifeguards at the main pools. The pool bar offered plenty of seating and a great variety of food and drinks—pizza, burgers, salads, fries, beer, wine, cocktails, sodas, coffee, and kids’ drinks—all day long. The resort’s biggest highlights were the food and staff. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were fantastic—fresh, tasty, and varied, with lots of salads, fruit, and desserts. The staff were truly amazing: cleaners, waiters, bartenders, and receptionists were all friendly, hardworking, and welcoming from morning to night. A special thanks to the animation team—Rico, Tekla, and Angela—who kept our kids entertained with fun activities in the Kids Club and organized games and events for everyone: water gymnastics, boule, table tennis, quizzes, bingo, and dancing in the evenings. We can’t recommend Ydoria Resort enough and hope to return soon!"

"Everything was perfect and it was also close to an ATM and supermarket. Around a 5 minute walk to the beach. Perfect for those who want to swim and relax. Well recommended 😁"

"Overall good, however a couple of improvement opportunities: 1) Supposedly it’s an adults oriented hotel, and the limit is 12 years. Unfortunately, lots of kids below that age. 2) Service by the pool area is varying in quality - from acceptable to poor. Staff seemed untrained and uncoordinated plus many don’t speak English that well. 3) Breakfast service acceptable, but not great. The process of refilling the empty food bowls could be improved."

"Första gången vi besökte resorten var sommaren 2024. Vi hade en fantastisk vecka och valde därför att återvända. Tyvärr levde inte denna vistelse upp till samma nivå. Även om personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam blev det fel varje gång när vi beställde room service eller bokade massagetid. Resorten är fortsatt i bra skick även om mycket slitage har tillkommit på rummen och poolområdet. Maten är bra och och resorten är mysig. Tyvärr verkar nu även charterbolagen leverera gäster till hotellet vilket skapade mycket mer kaos och buller i restaurangen både morgon och kväll. En helt klart mycket sämre atmosfär jämfört med året innan. "

"Love the location and will absolutely come back. The restaurant (dinner) is excellent, very nice food and the view is stunning. The staff at the hotel is attentative and very nice. Breakfast is great. Comfortable bed. The only down side would be the pool, not very clean water. Probably to much people. Its better than not having a pool and the size is decent. "

"Stort, snyggt hotell med flera pooler & matställen. Hade inte bott här utan barn. Mindre bra var att äventyrsbadets pool inte var uppvärmd & var 13 grader, gick inte att vistas där. Servicen var undermålig, incheckningen tog flera timmar, stor förvirring i personalen kring var badhanddukar fanns. Kallt på rummen i april när kvällstempen var kring 9 grader. Fanns mkt mat att välja på men ingen variation från dag till dag så tröttnade snabbt. Hårda sängar. Dåligt nätverk. Trevlig personal overall."
