“The Accomodation has all amenities and comfort including large bath and the nice touch of a DVD collection. Kitchen has all you need. But it is completely blind (there are windows but you need to keep blinds down so it’s dark!) which the listing avoided showing with great success. We were imagining a small stable with an open space or a bit of a view but even the back mini courtyard is completely fenced off and the windows give onto a passageway. “Excellent breakfast, with lot of choice. Same for meals in the evening. Friendly staff. Seating would benefit from seat pads(bedrooms & bar areas) Bedrooms - clean & comfortable...nice if hot chocolate was an option...also biscuits.”

“Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy.”

“Issues about the room Open the door - strong musky smell even with the window open. On arrival in the room I had to remove 5 spiders (each in different corners of the room) aswell as several cobwebs. Carpet had a massive stain upon entering the room which probably added to the musky smell. Room uninviting and very small for double. Décor was 1970's styled, looking incredibly dated. Bath had large scattered spots of paint so you certainly wouldn't bath in it. Can’t shave as there’s no plug in...
