The Discovery Bay Grand Villa. Denna villa är ny på marknaden som lanserades i mars 2020. Villan har 6 sovrum och 6 och ett halvt badrum. Den konsekventa utformningen i hela fastigheten är ett öppet koncept. Hemmet är inrett med en ultramodern, lyxig känsla. Varje rum i huset har fantastisk havsutsikt. Huset har också ett spelrum och en helt privat strand. Personal ingår i din vistelse.

Vit sandstrand med solstolar, en mild sluttning som är idealisk för familjer. Utomhus samlingsutrymmen på pooldäck. Slå runt balkongen på övervåningen. De stora badrummen är oklanderligt dekorerade rena linjer, vita och guld moderna plattor och badkar. Ingången till hemmet har en massiv en av en snäll 20ft dörr som kommer att göra att du känner dig välkommen.

Huset är fullt bemannat med en hushållerska, butler och kock för att säkerställa att du är väl omhändertagen. Vi har också en concierge som kan hjälpa dig att planera alla detaljer om din resa, så att din semester börjar med planeringsstadiet.

Host communication was absolutely stellar. The concierge was in contact before and during stay and was absolutely fantastic. The outdoor area, pool and view was open and inviting. The chef, Kenroy, made the stay! His meals were the glue that made memories stick for our stay. The meal presentations and tastes were lifetime memories. We would go back simply for the food prep, personality and personalized attention from the chef! Some opportunities for improvement:- Pool was too cold to enter. I think they had just filled it and it had not heated up yet - The traffic and city sounds are no joke!! The first night there was a city party with loud music on top of the street sounds that was like sleeping in a concert. - Butler was pleasant but we made our own drinks and was self service during our stay. Maybe it was our fault but we were thinking that there was going to be drink service.

This was 5 star accommodations. The house and location are top notch. What makes it outstanding is the staff. Everyone made us feel like we were at home. The listing is exactly what the house is. The pool area is nice to entertain and just relax. Can’t beat the views and the personal beach area is a nice touch. We will be back!! Huge Thank you to Christine BJ Samantha Michelle and Mr Simpson for our on site terrific time and Deana for setting things up.

Your own private resort

The staff truly makes this property the best! A huge thanks to Christina, BJ, Samantha, Michelle Deanna and Cleveland. BJ was incredible with the kids. He found so many sea creatures for us and had a ton of knowledge. We also appreciated the hot coffee waiting for us every morning! Christina is a fabulous chef! We never went hungry. Some of our favorites were her jerk chicken and sauce, oxtail stew, coconut shrimp, festivals and banana bread. Give her leeway to cook what she wants and you won't be disappointed. She also made boring buttered noodles for our kids! If you venture over to the beach club with the inflatables, don't go on Wednesday. That was the only busy day and it was packed because of the cruise ship people. You can kayak over there. The Glistening Waters tour was really cool. If you venture out for dinner, take Christina's recommendations. The other reviews noting the road noise are true! It is very noisy because the property if right off the main road. Make sure everyone has their own sound machine and/or ear plugs. Everyone fell asleep fine, but had difficulty staying asleep because of the road noise. Just something to plan for, but I wouldn't let it deter you from booking this property.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location and stunning house and grounds. One of the best parts was the house staff!! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Chef Christina was amazing at making meals for the adults and kids! We ended up staying home for every meal! To top off this trip, we have made lifelong friends with BJ. He was incredible with the kids and they will never forget him!

Best vacay ever!

From booking with Rory, to planning with Deanna to our daily interactions with Chef Christina, BJ, Negell and Samanth everything was amazing. Chef Christina’s time, attention and details did not go unnoticed. I highly recommend you give her some basic guidance on cuisine needs and choices and let her be great and creative. She will not disappoint. My family enjoyed connecting with BJ and Negell and in- fact they played pool tournaments with us. Rick said to tell everyone he beat BJ in pool lol. Samantha was fantastic and very attentive to our needs. The property was immaculate, and beyond our expectations. Jet ski rentals are 50 ft away from the villa We saw so many different sea creatures on the private beach. I can’t leave out Cleveland, our driver - he was awesome and flexible to our needs. This vacay was simply the best. We all hated to leave. Until next time…

Restful with views!

We'd stayed 6 days with family and friends -- great space and set up for relaxing vacation. I'll give a review the way I'd like to have read it before booking! Let's start with PROS! - Deanna, Concierge is excellent, communicative and truly does her best to ensure everything you need is taken care of! -BJ- AMAZING "butler" that turned into a friend. He's attentive and cool to hang poolside. - Food- Cristina is a terrific chef whose variety and flavors made the week worthwhile. -Beach area- Nice spot to get into the ocean and swim CONS: -Noise--- If you want a zen vibe, this is not the house for you. Noise from the road and nearby beach club wasn't terrible, but could disturb the discerning guest looking for peaceful oasis. - Home Finishes and bedding--- For the cost of this home, they need to do some maintenance of the furniture, bedding etc. You expect the best at these prices and it's just fair. Cribs in the hallways, paint chipping and furniture needing to be replaced in some areas. - WIFI- SPOTTY in places! It's 2024 - wireless needs to be consistent and fast. PERIOD. Overall great stay however we'd book a different property next time due to the noise, wifi and overall finishes of this home.

BEST VACAY

Took the entire family to Jamaica this summer and we are so glad we chose to stay here. The location and the property were perfect. The staff was top notch! Very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Kitchen staff was amazing, Christina is an amazing cook! Samantha kept the place clean and tidy all day long. Our driver, Cleveland, was great, he took us everywhere and always had a smile on his face. He was like our personal escort, making sure we were introduced to exactly who we needed to know for our excursions. And then there's BJ, the butler, he quickly became a friend and was loved by all of us. I highly recommend you stay here while visiting Jamaica, you will not be disappointed at all.

Great experience

Our stay at the Villa was great. This was my 6 time back to Jamaica in 4 years but my first time in a Villa. The staff was great! They were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING! Literally, everything we ate was more than delicious. The location was ideal for Ocho Rios, and a little ways from Montego Bay, yet my group was able to experience attractions in both locations. The only thing that was not enjoyable were the bugs. The first few days were fine, and then it rained really hard. The rain brought out mosquitos and all types of small flying bugs. Because meals are pretty much served outside, we were eaten alive. The staff were very apologetic, but it wasn't their fault. To be clear, these were not bugs because of a lack of cleanliness, just nature. We even had purchased local bug spray, it didn't help. As others mentioned, the road noise was a little loud, however it didn't bother me at all. It did bother some in my group though. Overall this was a great villa, with a phenomenal staff and a wonderful trip.

Family Vacation

House is truly gorgeous! Plenty of room for our family of eleven. Spent most of our time outside in the beautiful infinity pool, snorkeling, searching for crab, fish and lizard sitings, and kayaking! Our new friends were wonderful and we miss them already!! Christina is the best chef! Every meal she served was delicious and included selections for everyone to enjoy. Super friendly and pleasant to talk with too! BJ was a delight and we learned a lot from him. He quickly became our 4 year old’s best friend! Krisandra was always there to help with anything we needed. Fun to be with and had good ideas to help us decide on activities. Aretha worked hard all day keeping up with fresh towels and a clean home. Cleveland drove us when we left the villa keeping us safe while pointing out areas of interest. There is quite a bit of noise at night and suggest a sound machine or ear plugs. Other than that, we enjoyed every minute!!! Grandchildren want to go again for Christmas!

The best vacation ever in Jamaica!

We chose this house for a vacation with our grown children and their spouses and significant others. It could not have been more perfect. The house features rooms that all have private baths, exquisite views of the ocean and large balconies. I must say that what really makes this a place to choose is the staff. They were gracious and always available and tended to all of our needs. Christina, delighted us with all of her meals and seemed to always be able to anticipate what we would want. We also had a few particular dietary needs/wishes and those were easily accommodated. I just cannot saw enough nice things about Christina. She was simply a joy to work with. BJ, our butler, also outdid himself, keeping the bar flowing both early and late as needed, and helping us make any other arrangements. The entire staff did such a great job that we really rarely needed to ask for anything. All of their efforts, allowed us to have the relaxed time together that we were hoping for. One of the things we enjoyed most was the easy access to the private beach and the amazing snorkeling. Although, kayaks are provided and we thoroughly enjoyed them, do not forget to bring snorkel gear with you because you truly do not want to miss out on it. The pool is lovely with lots of areas to gather or to be alone and provides beautiful photo opportunities. There is some road noise, but we had earplugs and this did the trick, so I would not let that deter you. Truly a perfect vacation.

Enjoyable Vacay

I came with my vacay crew (friends and family). We selected Jamaica and were very pleased with the house, location, private beach and the impeccable staff, which made our stay even more pleasant. It was extremely hot so we spent the majority of our time outdoors. Deanna, the concierge was very accommodating in planning our activities and helping us celebrate our birthdays. Christina the chef ensured our cakes were as ordered and fed us well EVERYDAY! Nakeisha kept our rooms together and Kresandra was there for whatever we needed. I can’t say enough about our butler, BJ. He went above and beyond his duties ensuring our safety in the ocean and making sure the service was perfect! Our drivers Cleveland and Waine were patient as we enjoyed our sightseeing and gave us a memorable tour. The staff was one of the best part of the trips. They allowed us to dance, sing to the wee hours of the night, unlike other VRBOs where all fun stops at 10:00p. Having your own private beach and waking up to breakfast was the highlight! It felt like a real vacation! We truly enjoyed our stay! We shall return! Thank you all!!!

Good location, great property, outstanding staff

We had a great vacation! The location was central to the few outings we made, but we found ourselves spending most of the week enjoying the property. The floor plan was perfect for 6 couples. There were multiple common areas, both inside and out, in which to relax the day away. The view of the bay was outstanding. The staff made our stay even more memorable. They were attentive, flexible, and always available. We dined on the patio for every meal and Christina accomodated our menu and meal time requests. The only memorable negative was the road noise that seemed most noticeable at night. Overall we would definitely return to the Luxe Grand Villa.

One Love

Best vacation EVER!

I was there celebrating my birthday with 11 of my best friends and sisters and it was nothing short of amazing! Christina and Krisandra’s meals everyday were delicious and 5 star. The service we received from Ashoni, BJ, and Kamesha were just like mom would do. So much love and care. Cleveland took great care of us every time we left the Villa. We always felt so safe and cared for. We truly felt like home. We never had to lift a finger! I miss them already and we all wish we could bring them home with us!

Wonderful Stay

We came for my husbands 50th a bunch of friends we had a great stay, Cleveland drove us and was wonderful, Christina was a great chef as was her assistant, javari and ashani were fun and friendly and most important Deanna was great in organizing the excursions!!!

Great trip but room for improvement

The scenery on the property is beautiful. The property itself is nice but some upkeep is needed, especially given this is supposed to be a high-end property. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The chef cooks extremely well. Covid protocols could be improved as some of staff did not wear masks. Overall it was a good stay, but for the price point there are some areas for improvement

Hello! Please feel free to edit. The Luxe Grand Villa was the perfect place to escape the cold winter and gather with good friends! The house was beautiful and clean, thanks to the hardworking cleaning staff. The property was a Jamaican oasis. We spent the majority of our time on the pool deck, the ocean shore right off the pool deck, and the gas fire by night. The butlers matched the energy of our party and provided excellent care from bartending, ensuring the table was prepared for dinner, locating a masseuse to come to the house, and taking us for a tour around the local neighborhood, at our request. They were upbeat, friendly, and well-mannered. In addition, having a chef on the property elevated our experience. Christina is an excellent part of the staff. She prepared delicious meals and accommodated those in our party who had meal preferences. Her dishes were fresh and delicious. She puts her heart into her work and it shows through her dishes and her charismatic personality. We appreciated the work of all the staff who made this vacation exactly that - a vacation. We could not have asked for a better location or staff who felt more like family! We have a few suggestions for the property. One, the pool water was very cold. It was slightly enjoyable during the sunny days, but we could not enjoy the pool at any other time. A heater would definitely make the pool a better place to relax and enjoy at any time during the day. In addition, a water mat or something of the sort in the ocean cove would have been great. The only downfall of the entire property is the noise of the traffic that can be heard from inside the home. The traffic does get better as the evening progresses, but it was something that we had to adjust to. Thank you Luxe Grand Villa for a perfect getaway!

Amazing Villa!

Came with a group of 14 people, pictures don’t do it justice! Had an amazing time at the villa, more than enough space both indoor and outdoor for all of our desires. Chef literally ruined any other type of vacation for me because her food the best! All meals were exactly what we needed and she went above and beyond to work with us to accommodate any dietary restrictions. The rest of the staff was great, from our girl Kameisha the houskeeper and BJ/Ash. We can’t wait to come back!
