“The entrance in the hotel is visually stunning.It is designed as a gathering place in First Nations style and you immediately get a sense of peace and harmony. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating .We stayed in October ,this meant that the dining room would be closed within two days of our stay .Because of this reason, the dining room would not have everything on it's fairly expensive and limited menu as we found out in ordering wine ,certain salads and entrees. “Overall the area is obviously stunning and beautiful, so that’s the main reason to stay there. It’s calm, quiet and a great place to unwind. The lodges themselves are a little rustic and basic, but they are fine. The service was super friendly and helpful. Was truly disappointed in the restaurant. The prices were expensive and for $45 I would have expected the seafood pasta to have fresh local seafood (after all…it’s located on the ocean) but the frozen seafood which barely had any meat to it...

“Vi bodde på Painter’s Lodge 3 nätter. Vi hade det bekvämt och bra på rummet. Receptionen var välkomnande men inte särskilt informativ. Maten på hotellet var dyr och tråkig. Det fanns ingen chans att ta sig in till city i Campbell River förutom att köra själv, så vi var hänvisade till hotellets restaurang. Första kvällen beställde jag och min man 2 helt olika rätter, men fick exakt samma mat förutom att köttet var olika. Sparkoncept. Vi valde att äta i puben de andra kvällarna med både billigare...
