âWe stayed at this hotel to have easy access to UCI Medical Center, which the property delivered, at about 1/2 mile away. It is close to freeways and the outlet mall, so location was excellent. I expected the worst from reading other reviews but it was better than I thought. The room was spacious, bed was comfy and clean, no chemical or smoke smell, bathroom was clean and so were the linens and towels. The tables, counters and dressers were not dusty. The floor could use a little bit of work and the pull out couch had tons of stains. I suggest going for a wipeable couch lol. Blown away about how huge that tub was in the room. âNice pools (warm and cool) outside. Very close and easy to get to the Honda Center for a hockey game (the reason for our visit) as well as a nice mexican place nearby. Not too exciting breakfast but they did cook pancakes on demand which was nice. Lower score for environmental friendliness since we were given plastic cutlery at breakfast. Hotel is a bit run-down but clean. â

âFirst night our a/c was extremely loud, and smoke detector went off twice. We notified office next morning that day they had replaced the a/c unit and fixed the smoke alarm! They had a great response time for our concerns and were very apologetic for the lack of sleep we got the night before. A free night would have been great for the extreme lack of sleep and inconvenience, but also we did not ask. â
