“This was the worst experience we have ever had with a hotel booked through Expedia.
We made the booking around 9:00 p.m. that evening, with payment authorized at 9:51 p.m. We arrived just before 11:30 p.m., which was still within the hotel's stated check-in hours, only to find that the office was already closed.
We immediately called the hotel's listed phone number multiple times, but no one answered. With no way to check in, we had no choice but to leave and drive another hour down the road...
“There were no towels in our room when we arrived. I went to front desk and they provided what we wanted. When we got up in the morning to shower, there was no shower curtain, so I showered as best I can without the curtain trying not to make too big a mess. Upon checkout I notified staff there was no shower curtain. They seemed very surprised and were apologetic. They reduced our rate by $10.”
“Room was a bit run down (needs paint, regrouping etc) but the beds were clean, shower was hot and seemed rather quiet area. The upstairs suites got a bit loud but we were still able to sleep thru it. Would use them again for a ball tournament.”
“The staff were very friendly to tired visitors who had been driving all day. The hotel was clean and well maintained, large, comfortable rooms. Beds were so comfortable that we slept past checkout! Staff graciously extended checkout. Will definitely stay again. Next time, we'll get up earlier and try the breakfast and the bbq's!”
“I tried to check in no one was around.
I went on line to cancel the room and Expedia would not allow me to as it was check in day. I had purchased cancelation insurance.
Expedia is a complete rip off and I will never use them again.”
