“If we were to visit Bayahibe again, we wouldn’t stay here nor recommend it. The floors of our room were dirty upon arrival, there were ants and spiders web in the bathroom etc. The bed was rock hard. The available staff only knew Spanish so there was zero ways to communicate for us non-Spanish speakers. The location is good - short walk to the beach and stores just around the corner. ”

“Very nice place and brilliant idea to have accommodations on Saona Island. Highly recommend. Not the Taj Mahal or a 5 star but what is? Clean and comfortable and the AC (mini split) works like a champ as does the ceiling fan and all electrical outlets. And the toilet works. Nice bed and bedding and great host. The area is rustic and bare bones but that is a charm too. Go eat where you see flamingos. Nice variety. Good folks and a throw back area to when life was slower and without screens...
