“This is a unique place. We had a room just above the beach and the waves were roaring at night. That was truly fantastic, but also the only downside. It is quite difficult to sleep without earplugs (and even with earplugs) considering all the sounds (the room was with "open walls"). Also, the beds are very hard. I would definitely recommend a visit to this place, but perhaps don't stay for too long. We stayed for three nights, which I think is an absolute maximum.”

“Visited with my husband and 11 year old son. Was a wonderful spot- easy access to town but we really enjoyed that it was away and secluded. We ate most our meals at the restaurant which was fantastic. Also loved the yoga class. And our son loved playing pool and playing in the waves at the beach. Would definitely recommend :) ”

One day we made a nice walk on the beach to Palomino beach, the second day we stayed in the resort. You cannot swim in the sea, but there is a nice small swimmingpool. The third day the hotel organised a private tour for us: we floated with tubes on the Palomino river to the sea. “We had an amazing stay at Cayena. The standard room was spacious and well appointed. The food was yummy and the staff superb. Andrew in particular helped us for over an hour change a flight. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a rental car which helped to get around to area sites as the hotel is a bit remote. ”

“It’s a Hostel direct on the Beach. It has 2 rooms with a touch of luxury but it is and remains a Hostel and not a Hotel. We had one of this luxury room with balcony and it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The service lady’s was very friendly and helpful. Around the hostel are many other hostels and restaurants for lunch and dinner. We had a nice small breakfast in the hostel.
