âZanzibar is a beautiful island with friendly people. The hotel is nice and the views are beautiful. However there is no beach at the hotel. The straff is kind but very untrained and many do not understand English which makes restaurant and room service challenging. The food is at a good price but at its best average. One pool was quite dirty though but we used the other one that was cleaner. Breakfast was modest but perfectly fine with us. There is NO shopping in Paje so prepare to buy everything of the hotel!
