“The Casso is in an excellent downtown Raleigh location and was walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops and things to do and see. The entire staff was professional and courteous and friendly. Jonathan, who checked us in and whom we saw in most of our comings and goings, was the BEST!. He always greeted us, was interested in how our day or evening had gone, and made our stay more enjoyable. We highly recommend The Casso for your stay in Raleigh.”

“There is no staff on-site. Check-in and property access is via text and a code box. The code did not work for me, even with multiple attempts and variations. Once in the room, a key fob will let you get into the building with no problem. This property is a maze of short corridors and fire doors. “Checkin was a mess. I was told to take a smaller room than what i had paid for, i insisted and was then given key to a room that was already occupied (with bags and clothes everywhere) Some 20 min later i got access to an unoccupied room. Attitude of reception staff nonchalant. Later during the stay i again found reception staff members non-cooperative. The hotel is old and feels dingy. Room itself fine however. Easy access to downtown Raleigh by bus, stop just 200 metres outside.”
