“We gave notice 1-1/2 days in advance of cancellation of three days of a six-night reservation. The motel manager wouldn’t give consent to Expedia of the refund so we were ripped off of over $150. What recourse do we have? The manager was belligerent and our conversation was heated, and he called the police. Refused to cooperate with us. Nothing happened with the police but he got away with our money. This is criminal!”

“It was super quiet and for that - a nice retreat. Amenities are far away so guests will need to have everything with, otherwise a drive for such could be 10+ miles. No frills at all, but quiet and affordable”

The owner has thought of all the small details that make a difference. There's a nice hot tub and patio seating area for breakfast if weather permits. Plus lawn games and a view that is so serene and beautiful. I can't even begin to express how amazing the breakfast was, plus a coffee/tea bar in the hallway outside the rooms.
