Utmärkt läge till färja och trevligt boende
Bodde bara en natt då vi skulle ta båten morgonen efter men hade gärna stannat fler nätter. Då vår båt gick före frukosttiden så ordnade värden så vi fick nåt att äta på rummet.

Stunning property and flexible checkin/checkout
The woman I spoke to was kind enough to let me check in several hours early, and I was upgraded to an absolutely GORGEOUS room and full bathroom including large bath and separate bidet. The location was fantastic; close to the middle of town and the local beach, quick walk (though very steep) to the castle, in between walks to the white cliffs in either direction. She also let me leave my bags late while I explored more before leaving for the cruise port. All in all, one of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed at, with friendly, flexible customer service. Would definitely stay again if I'm in Dover, and I highly recommend it to anyone else.

I found the guest house very comfortable and the person who welcomed me (Sarah) very friendly which added to the pleasure of my stay. I hope to stay there again in the same room in the near future and look forward to the ecperience.

Liked absolutely everything about his guest house. We stayed the night before our cruise. They even arranged for our taxi to the ship the next day. Very welcoming, friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed as a group of 4 girls in the room with upto 4 people accommodating. I have to say that we never expected such an amazing and delightful experience at Hubert House. All thanks to Farah, who went out of the way to take care of us and looked after every little need and request for us. Without her and the amazing accommodation ....our trip to Dover is incomplete ! The breakfast served was so delicious and had so many options. The room was as expected in the picture shown during booking. We all were so happy to live in that beautiful and splendid room. We will surely return back. I would prefer Hubert House with my eyes closed over any chain hotels like Travelodge etc ! Thank you Team Hubert House and Farah for giving us such a memorable experience of a lifetime !

Nice weekend stay in Dover
Stayed for the weekend in Dover and the guest house was lovely. The staff are very friendly and had knowledge of local attractions. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were super comfortable, and the shower great. Breakfast was great, with a wide selection of things available.

Nicely decorated B&B. Room was comfortable with nice linens. Bathroom is petite but new and nicely done. Landlady was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful restored house. Our suite was well decorated and had plenty of seating and comfy bedding. But stairs were hard with heavy suitcases.

Right next to a noisy bar so hard to sleep. Very mediocre breakfast. Lots of stairs so packing stuff up and down is a pain. Definitely not a family B and B

Piccola struttura su più piani con scale interne tipiche Inglese strette e in piedi. Camera ben arredata e seppur non grande sufficientemente spaziosa x una famiglia di 4 persone per brevi soggiorni. Bagno lillipuziano senza finestra con lavandino davvero ridicolo. Direi questo il vero limite della struttura oltre alle scale. IL tutto ampiamente compensato dalla gentilezza e ospitalità della proprietaria che coccola letteralmente i clienti!

Car park is awful
Car park is tiny and has a low walk that cannot be seen from drivers window that makes it impossible to see and maneuver. Many people had challenges trying to park.

Ok, but lacks in customer service
We arrived early and did not expect to check in but wanted to just leave our bags. The hostess took a while to answer and when se answered the door she was quite annoyed that we arrived early. She ended up letting us check in early after complaining that we didnt alert her about it before hand. She then complained about requesting a taxi for us the next morning saying it was difficult to get. We dis not eat breakfast because we had to leave before 8:30. The food in town left a lot to be desired. The cliffs however were stunning and the ferry ride to Calais was lovwly.

Clean hotel with parking
Very clean hotel with lovely bedroom and fridge and tea and coffee. Unfortunately we could not book breakfast at hotel however there were a few cafes open at 8am only 5 minutes walk away.

Room was clean and pretty, although I'm not sure it was the one we had indicated we wanted. Big complaint (tried to find a way to contact the manager privately, but could find no way to do so): She called us when we were at the Calais ferry terminal to ask when we expected to check in. I said we didn't know, as we weren't sure how much time it would take the ferry to arrive, how long it would take to catch a cab, how far the Dover terminal was from the hotel, plus we knew there was a time change. She was very persistent in her demands to know when we'd arrive--terminal was noisy and we were trying to deal with our luggage, etc. I finally asked a ferry employee when we would arrive. I was panicking because it was about 7 p.m. and I was afraid she was going to give our room to somebody else if we didn't arrive by a certain time. It ruined the trip across the Channel--my first--because I couldn't stop worrying about losing our room on the last day of our trip. There was no need to put us through this--manager should try to be more understanding of what foreign travelers are going through and how upsetting a call like this can be.

Sarah is an excellent host and could not do enough for us in making bookings and giving of advice with regard to any questions we had. If I am back in Dover absolutely no doubt that I will be booking this place again

Les bons points : arrivee plus tot ok, emplacement ok, chambre ok, on nous a meme proposé de garder un peu nos bagages le jour du depart, le temps que l on visite un endroit Les points a ameliorer : la dame qui tenait le bed and breakfast parfois tres seche dans sa maniere de parler, que ce soit au client ou a ses employés, ce qui met mal a l aise Propreté et petits dej ok sans plus..on s attendait a un vrai petit dej anglais avec bacon haricots blancs etc.. Petite tache au niveau du tissu de lit et legere odeur ds la chambre

Good position & good breakfast.
The hostess is very friendly & welcoming., although we were unsure where it was & tried to call numerous times, to ask directions, but there was no reply, so we were worried that there was no-one in. However, she was there & was very informative. The house itself is very tired looking & old fashioned when you enter. The hall area is small & cramped and had hazard tape over the letter box, which doesn’t give a good feeling. The landlady did ‘upgrade’ us to her 4 poster bedroom from the double we had booked, which was much better and I would recommend. The bed was very comfortable & the room well appointed. Breakfast was very nice & plentiful, & the breakfast room is light & airy. Overall a good position for the castle & the harbour, with good parking facilities,
