“Clean and comfortable. Very small room. No refrigerator or microwave. We called desk to get fridge. They had them in the lobby/bar but it was so tiny I could only fit 1 coke bottle and it never got cold! They do give you 1 token per person for a beer or drink in the bar. Staff was polite and helpful. Hi-tech elevator took a minute to get used to! Location was excellent! Shower wouldn't work so maintenance had to come fix it, but came promptly. Great view from rooftop bar/restaurant.”

“For the price it’s incredibly clean! The decor is far from modern and it all looks a little rough, but rooms are huge (by European standards anyway) and very clean. Staff very helpful, breakfast very basic but def ok for the price.
Be advised though that one whole wall of each room is window, like a store front basically. So you will need to keep the curtains fully closed unless you want the whole street to see your whole room. So essentially “no windows” unless you’re happy with that. I...

“Fabulous location in the center of everything, but the hotel has seen better days. Elevators broken during our entire stay. Mildewed carpets in places. We had to walk down steps to the lobby if we wanted ice in our ice buckets. No restaurant on the premises. Despite this, the staff is helpful and friendly and we walked to all the attractions except The Biltmore, which is a 10 minute drive away.”

“The room was clean and had a unique layout that had the bed facing the window, which had a
great view of Asheville and the mountains. The bar and outside restaurant also have a great view. Complimentary champagne is available in the lobby, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was that parking was valet at $22 per night which was not indicated when making reservations.”

“Unfortunately target overbooked the terrace rooms, so we got bumped to a king suite. It was quite unfortunate as that was what we were looking forward too, however they did give us a free bottle of wine. Food and drinks were amazing at watch and the observatory.
