When we called reception we were told Spectrum was having connection problems and to try back later. The next day we called about the TV again. Then someone came to our room and fixed the TV. “Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...
