Varukorgen Shed på Swallows Nest.
Lyxigt boende för upp till 6 personer i hjärtat av Yorkshire Nature Triangle. Enkel åtkomst till fantastiska kuster, Yorkshire Wolds, historiska Beverley & York och omgiven av öppen natur.
Tidigare ett stabilt block och körfälthus har denna historiska byggnad kärleksfullt restaurerats av ägarna Katy & John, med hjälp av återvunna och hållbara material. Väggarna är isolerade med lokalt odlad hampa och kalkgips ger en vacker texturerad och rustik finish.
Möblerad med all uppmärksamhet på detaljer, sovrum och badrum har utformats med avkoppling och komfort i åtanke. Två av sovrummen har eget dusch / toalettrum (en är rullstolsanpassad med rulla i duschen) och det finns också en familj badrum med badkar, dusch och toalett.
Den stora öppna planlösningen har ett fullt utrustat, handgjorda lantkök, ekgolv, golvvärme och en vedeldad spis (gratis stockar).
Med tre sovrum som rymmer upp till sex personer, erbjuder Cart Shed det perfekta utrymmet för familjer eller grupper av vänner att samlas.
Två av sovrummen kan bestå som antingen super king size-sängar eller två singlar.
Ligger alla på en nivå, det är fullt rullstolsanpassat.
Vagnskuren ser ut på vårt skogsmark och över öppna fält. Titta på solnedgången, lyssna på fåglar sång och njut av ett glas vin på den privata uteplatsen.
Gratis välkomstkorg med lokala råvaror, gratis Wi Fi, TV och DVD Combi, dockningsstation, teleskop (för att se den breda öppna stjärnan upplysta himlen), kikare, utvalda böcker, spel och DVD-skivor.
Du är välkommen att ta med två fullt utbildade, välskötta hundar (liten extra avgift).
Golfbana, fiske sjöar och vattensporter mitt på tröskeln.

Perfect Stay

Beautiful property with excellent hosts. John and Katy greeted us in person and even allowed us to check in slightly earlier. Immaculate accomodation with a very personal touch, a welcome hamper & even a basket of treats for out dog and a fenced area for the dog too. Thoroughly recommend, a great base for exploring the local area.

Return to my childhood

THE PROPERTY WS OF A VERY HAGH STANDARD, our welcome was beyond expectation ....eg the welcome pack We were very isolated and further away from Beverley than we thought ...my fault as I thought we were to stay in the village not far from the racecourse !!!! We were taken by the friendliness of our hosts .... Should we make the journey again we would certainly be visiting you again

Amazing..

Such a beautiful place! There's clearly careful attention to every detail to make the stay perfect - everything from the cleanliness, the design, the facilities and extra touches, all the way through to the outside surroundings and the friendly helpfulness of the owners. I'd also highly recommend this accommodation and location for anyone with mobility issues or those in wheelchairs.

Peaceful and perfect for our needs

My elderly mum and i had a lovely stay in the Cart Shed. Beautifully restored, light and airy space, well thought out with a very well equipped kitchen, comfy furniture and everything we needed. The walk in shower, toilet rails and smooth floors/no steps were perfect for my mum who walks with a wheeler. We enjoyed the private yard and outdoor table & seating in a quiet rural setting. John and Katy were very welcoming and the organic prosecco & hamper was a lovely touch!

Amazing visit!

What a fantastic property and lovely location, we booked The Cart Shed as a base for visiting York, the amazing Aquarium in Hull and the nearby town of Beverley which is such a lovely town with all the shops and eateries you would want. Staying here would also be a relaxing and peaceful place for a break. The Cart Shed has everything you need, just pack your clothes and enjoy the experience. Will definitely be returning!

Swallows nest stay

Had a lovely week , nice and peaceful. The place is great , loved the patio watching the sun go down with a beer. Also loved the hammock in the woods. John and Katie are really helpful with advice about the local area (and getting us our eggs ). Nearby beach great for dogs.

Lovely celebration break

You could not wish for a more relaxing location. The property is situated in a rural location with fantastic wildlife around. It is well furnished and everything has been thought of. The welcome basket and home made scones was also much appreciated.. We were a group of 6 celebrating a 65th wedding anniversary so being on one level and having two en suite shower rooms and a family bathroom was ideal for the age group. The local village pub served good food and was very COVID secure. The same can be said for the local fish and chip shop. All in all a nice relaxing break.

Warm Welcome

A very clean, comfortable and cosy cottage - and what a welcome! The fire was alight when we arrived, there was a pretty Christmas tree and a welcome basket of foods including local bread milking preserves.

Swallow's Nest

A wonderful place to celebrate Christmas. The tree was up and decorated, the log fire burning and the turkey awaiting. The facilities for making the property 'accessible' are excellent. Extremely helpful and welcoming hosts.

Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay here. The Cart Shed is beautifully furnished with special extra touches for example a welcome pack, a Christmas tree and dog treats. It was comfortable, warm and cosy and a perfect spot for a pre Christmas get together. The area was close to the beaches for some great dog walking and there were brilliant places to eat (or takeaway) close by. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful converted cart shed and the friendliest of welcomes!

Wonderful accommodation, a perfect base for the weekend and our trip to Beverley Races! Lots of thoughtful touches (homemade cake on arrival, well stocked hamper of local organic goodies, and being met and shown round by the owners in person). Beautiful fixtures and fittings inside and superb views and starry skies outside. Lovely!

Our stay at swallows nest

We rented this property as a family celebration trip for my mum and dad who are both turning 60 this year. It has honestly been the most magical few days. The location of the property is perfect, it’s set in the countryside and it’s so quiet and peaceful all of us have felt so chilled out. We have also visited some of the local hotspots such as bridlington and Beverley as well as berts pizzeria which is a must and the black swan pub quiz. We have had the best time and would encourage anyone to visit and stay at the swallows nest. We stayed as five adults and we all had space and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other, it was exactly what we where looking for.

Beautiful property and area

We had only booked a couple of days away and it was quite last minute, but this did not disappoint. The house was stunning and immaculate. John and Katy had provided a gorgeous hamper full of lots of yummy things which went down particularly well with the kids. We had not stayed in Yorkshire before and found it to be lovely. Bempton Cliffs was fantastic. We could have easily spent all our time at the house though, watching the wildlife in the garden! We saw a multitude of different birds, there were pheasants and rabbits outside our window in the morning, and a hedgehog next to the woodshed in the evening. Just a lovely little break, and a shame we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you for letting us stay here. Sharan

Needs more that 5 stars!

Thank you so much John and Katy for your wonderful hospitality and helping to organise our surprise birthday weekend. The “Cart Shed” is amazing; from the fresh eggs to the homemade Victoria sponge and the wonderful warm welcome. It’s so rare to stay anywhere that truly thinks of all the “Little Things” like washing-up liquid, and Milk in the fridge! So much better than any five-star hotel. We have loved every second of our stay here, watching the wild life and sitting by the real fire each night playing card games and late-night stargazing. Everything here was immaculate, and we have absolutely made ourselves at home this weekend. It has been so peaceful and we felt like the only people for miles, though John and Katy were only a text message away if we needed them. We tried Harpers Fish and Chip shop on their recommendation which was lovely! Though, top tip, a small is definitely more than enough. We also had Afternoon Tea at Tickton Grange Hotel which we would highly recommend. We will absolutely be telling all our friends and family about Swallows Nest and we hope to be back in years to come! Thank you again

Peaceful and Relaxing

The Cart Shed exceeded all expectations. The owners were very friendly and kept us supplied with fresh eggs. Watching the birds feeding from the garden was a delight. We were lucky to see deer right outside our bedroom window. Would highly recommend.
