Next to the Metro
The best thing with the hotel was the location next to the metro, it was very convenient. The suite was nice and spacious. The bathroom was for disabled people and there were no shelter for the shower which ment there were water all over. The hotel was probably fully booked because it was crowded. But that’s nice after the pandemic.

Good connections
Pros: Close to both the beach (marina) and Mall of Emirates. Very nice room overlooking the city and ocean. Metro is just outside the door. Zoom shop just next door. Cons: the pool is covered by a Net that shades the Sun. Expensive breakfast.

The hotel staff ruined the whole experience and impression of Dubai. There are no self parking available for guest so you have to give your car for the valet. The last day of our vacation we gave our car for parking and one hour later when we ask our car back we noticed the damage. Hotel staff denied that it was them, but refused to show the security cameras because of the law. (I asked for specific time frame, 2:40-2:50pm because it would be very clear to see that the car was not damaged when we dropped it off for parking).However two hours later they managed to take a video and show me the video from the other night 7pm and stated that this is when we came back with the damaged car (nothing I could see in that video because it was poor quality and dark). When I ask them why you showed me the video from the other night when I cannot see anything but refusing to show the video from this day when I am sure I will see whether the car was damaged or not the security person said that he is braking the law and he will not show me anything. By car rental I was required to do a police report if anything happened to a car, I had a trouble calling the police and hotel staff refused to cooperate. They said I cannot use their phones to call the police. Later I managed to call the police, the officer ask the security person whether it was them or not, security showed him the video for 5 secs from his phone I don’t even know from which day and officer said ok. Be aware people

The property is very nice although showing its age a little. That said it's a true 4 star and good value. The only real complaint I would have is the loud traffic noise being near a highway. Even on the upper floors (I was on floor 35) the traffic was substantially loud. Fortunately I'm not very sensitive to the noise but many would be.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff were extraordinary, Mohamed Elatik the rooms division manager was super helpful also, and there’s one particular front office duty manager he speaks French Arabic and English I can’t seem to remember his name I just refer to him as the guy that speaks French, he was amazing from my first day checking through out my one month stay. When next I’m visiting Dubai I’ll definitely stay at Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel and Suites. This time I’ll pick the name of the French Arabic English speaking front office duty manager. Thanks Mercure.

Het hotel was op zich netjes op het eerste oog. Eenmaal op de kamer kwamen de eerste mankementen al naar boven. Een waterkoker die kapot is. Werd overigens meteen vervangen, top! Een afgebroken houder van de douchekop waardoor deze niet fatsoenlijk op de plaats bleef. De stortdouchekop werkte niet naar behoren en er was schimmel in de douche, dit was goed te ruiken. Bij het ontbijt was het een chaos. De ontbijtruimte is te klein voor het aantal mensen die het hotel kan huisvesten. Verder wel een goede ervaring gehad met de service en klantvriendelijkheid. Het hotel ligt centraal waardoor alles goed bereikbaar is.

The hotel is next to the train station. House cleaning is barely minimum - linens were not changed daily and towels looked depressed and worn.The facility needs some facelift.

I am going regularly and stays at different hotels in dubai , sometime twice in months,, this is the first hotel who asked for cash deposit despite I already paid the fees online !!!

The breakfast buffet was excellent. Rooms were big and clean. Great location and close to metro. The cons: toiletries were below average (e.g. one product for hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, no soap bars, no body lotion, no area for leaving your own products) design of shower is bad where water can spill over to the floor) they give you bottled water so you need to keep asking for water to your room, no water fountain stations at the lobby, the staff arranging for cabs is aggressive about using their own cabs vs. Uber, you can’t take food from buffet to your room so you need to eat there (I get why but still annoying) the AC system is flawed (where the air comes from the ceiling down to the couch is a bad spot and can cause you to get cold) the food at the cafe at the lobby is overpriced (The sandwiches were ok but the donuts were old so don’t get them)

Customer service and phone services are very bad… calls not answered … WhatsApp service is slow in response and not precise. Front desk staff including manager on duty skills needs improvement esp. customer interaction and credibility..

Awesome value for price
This hotel might be the most confortable, convenient and quality for price in Dubai. I've tried may hotels for short to long stay and this one is my preferred. The value for price is amazing, the staff very nice and there for any need.

Great value for money!
Massive rooms, very comfortable and clean. Staff really helpful in all aspects. Good for unmarried couples as well. metro station is a minutes walk from the hotel. Super convenient.
