“We had a nice one-night stay while travelling at the Holiday Inn Express in Lewisburg. It is very conveniently located just off I-80. We were with our dog and he got lots of attention (and treats) at check in. They put us on a first floor room with easy access to the outside door / poop bags. If our dog is happy, we are happy!”

“There was nothing that I didn’t enjoy at this hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel room along with the gathering places was superb. Breakfast had multiple selections of well made options. We were so pleased with our 1 night stay!”

“I loved this hotel. Very clean. The gentleman that checked me in was wonderful. Very kind and patient despite a large tour group that had just arrived via tour bus. The layout of the room is convenient and efficient. I love the hooks instead of a closet. Wish other hotels would do this. Breakfast area was clean and good selection of food. Would recommend and and would stay here again.”

“Very nice and fresh hotel. Nice room and beds. I had a very good night. Nice breakfast and breakfastroom. Free parking. We used the inside whirlpool, which was nice. Location is ok in a very sleepy town. We are from Sweden and just slept here one night on our way to Niagara Falls. I really recommend this hotel. ”

“By check in. I did not receive a clean room, changed 3 times of room. All where the same thing. By the 3rd room, i decided for them to give a mop and broom and things to clean myself. This is unacceptable. That is disrespectful.”

“Cool hotel in the old City Hall. Good location downtown, but area is more or less ”dead” after 5. Read the notes carefully before booking. I didnt, and ended up in a room with no windows! Other solutions such as no door to shower and a ”primitive” sliding door to toilet are questionable. No staff on site is fine until something goes wrong. I had a payment problem that was later solved, but for a moment that caused some concern that would nerver have happened if somebody would have been on site.”

“Our experience at this hotel was completely unacceptable Upon check-in, we were assigned a room and given keys. When we entered the room, we discovered it was already occupied by another guest. This was not only embarrassing but also a serious safety and security concern for both us and the guest whose room we had been given access to. “The bathroom was really clean! I loved the mix of old tiles and modern shower. Check in instructions were helpful but a tad complicated. Looking back I don't know how they could have simplified the directions bc it was very involved but it was a tad stressful to follow all the codes and instructions. The room was charming but could really benefit with some updated bedding - sort of like the bathroom - having the old charm of the house but updated elements. The room was stuffy but one call to...

“Honestly - Do not stay here! They have local residents staying longer term, which just brings noise all night long. Cigarette burn holes in the sheets, towels should have been replaced many years ago. Hallway just stinks like smoke and weed. For a few dollars more.....go somewhere else!!”

“The rooms were clean but we arrived in the evening and the amount of lights attracting bugs lead to a lot of bugs getting into the room. The stairwell to the 2nd floor also had a very overpowering cat or dog fecal smell.”

“The property was undergoing major renovations during my stay, so guests had to use a side door most of the time, and there was a lot of dust, dirt and debris on the main floor, especially around the entrances, and dumpsters and construction vehicles in the parking lot. There was also a food service delivery, via tractor trailer, at 5:30am, that unloaded, loudly, at the main entrance for about 30 minutes, just below my third floor room the first morning I was there. “There was mold on the walls of the room. Mold in shower. No hot water the 2nd day. Apparently he had turned off the hot water neither our room or my parents room had hot water until the owner turned it back on. Big centipede bug was live crawling in the light on ceiling so we asked for a new room. Dirt room. Hair on walls of the shower. No water pressure. Hard beds. Not a comfortable stay. I guess you get what you pay for.”
