Drake House- City View (Privat badtunna)

Inga utgifter sparades i denna vackert dekorerade svit! "City View ligger på tredje våningen och har en fantastisk utsikt över staden. Enheten har två sovrum med dubbelsängar och kan sova 4-6 personer. Det finns tre platt-TV: en i varje sovrum och en i vardagsrummet. Enheten har en matsal från köket, en 5-fots walk-in kaklat dusch utanför sovrummet och en badtunna på däck! Dessutom ingår en öppen spis och tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Det fullt möblerade köket har bänkskivor i granit och inkluderar en kaffebryggare och en brödrost.
City View ligger inom gångavstånd till 7 Hills bryggeri, Brazen Open Kitchen / Bar, The Voices Art Gallery, The Gym Fitness Center, cykelleder, shopping, Mississippi River och året runt Farmer's Market. Convenient location near Dubuque's Millwork District

This was our second stay in the Drake House: City View and we wouldn't hesitate to here stay again. The apartment is comfortable and conveniently located. There are stairs to negotiate with your luggage, but there's a nice deck with a view of the Millwork District at the back of the property. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. We didn't use the washer/dryer.

Nice Location

The property was close to several of the activities we were doing. It’s a nice, clean property. Parking took a little time to find due to the one way streets and where it is. It is across the street and in the previous block by a car lot but it does have signage. Owner communicates well. We would definitely stay again (but maybe pack a bit lighter due to the steps ).

Great Iowa get away

Grew up in Iowa and left in 1985 for the military. This might have be the longest trip back since then. We flew into Cedar Rapids for our niece’s wedding. Then traveled to Dubuque with our son and grandson. We took in a horseback trail ride in Galena, walked through Maquoketa Caves State Park, took in the National Mississippi River Museum, and ventured out to the Field of Dreams movie site. We also took our Grandson to the Live Social all ages game room at the Q Casino. Afterwards the casino was nice to my wife and I. All of this was within 30 minutes of this property. It was clean; we used to clean beach front rentals for extra income 25 years ago, so we know a clean property when we see one. The hot tub was not available due to a cracked shell, but the owner provided fair compensation for this inconvenience. Highly recommend this property if visiting the area. We did stay at the casino a little too late one evening and Uber was not available, but there is a local cab company that provided quick and affordable transportation back to the property.

Excellent space and location

This space is adorable, has everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing! Host communicated with us and was very responsive to any questions. We have stayed at drake house twice now and will be back!

Great location

Loved our stay there. Perfect location to get to the Millwork District. Also, Charlottes Coffee House is fabulous, and staying above it is great to go downstairs to get coffee, food and snacks.

Scenic Dubuque!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Very clean and cute! We came to relax and loved the private hot tub and coffee shop right in the building. We were able to easily walk to shops, restaurants and museums and never even moved the car from the parking lot once we arrived.

Cute stay near the historic Millwork District

Cute 2-bedroom accommodation near restaurants and downtown Dubuque. Nice coffeehouse downstairs-no noise from the business and good coffee. White Street is busy, but traffic wasn’t a bother with windows closed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property!

This is our 2nd time staying at one of the Drake House units. We love the location, ease of parking, cleanliness and of course the balcony/hot tub! And the first floor coffee shop is an extra bonus!

Relaxing and enjoyable

Location was great. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. Coffee shop in the same building was the cherry on top. The street noise is loud for light sleepers like myself (husband and mother-in-law were not bothered). However found ear plugs in a drawer and slept great the next nights!
